Holley Tyler, DNP, MSN, BSN, RN, serves as the Regional Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for St. Mary’s Health Care System.

Immediately before joining St. Mary’s, Holley served as Chief Clinical Officer/Chief Operating Officer at Vibra Hospital of Portland, WA, a 76-bed critical care hospital specializing in the care of patients with complex medical needs. Prior to her role at Vibra, she served as CNO of 450-bed PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, WA; CNO of 306-bed Valley Hospital Medical Center, UHS Healthcare, in Las Vegas, NV; CNO of The Woman’s Hospital of Texas, HCA Healthcare, in Houston, and CNO of Valley Regional Medical Center, HCA Healthcare, in Brownsville, Texas.

Earlier in her career, Holley served as a nurse technician, magnet coordinator, bedside nurse, traveling nurse, charge nurse, IMCU nurse manager and associate CNO in hospitals in Texas and Washington state. She also served as an adjunct faculty member at Clark Community College in Vancouver, WA, for four years.

She earned her associate’s degree in nursing from Grayson County College in Denison, Texas; bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington; and her Doctor of Nursing practice from Walden University in Minneapolis, MN. She has extensive community service as well, including serving with the Washington State Hospital Association Board, Columbia River Mental Health Board, American Heart Association “Go Red” Executive Board, Chamberlain Advisory Committee, March of Dimes, Moody Clinic and the University of Texas at Brownsville.
