Good Samaritan Foundation's "Legacy of Style" Fashion Show

Event Details

This year’s celebration of style and community will feature two signature events:

• Friday, February 6 – Champagne Tasting
  All welcome
  Location: The Oconee Cellar
  Time: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday, February 26 – Main Catwalk Fashion Show
  Sponsors and General Ticket Holders
  Location: Lake Oconee Church, 1101 Village Park Dr., Greensboro, GA 30642
  Time: Sponsor Entry 4 pm, General Admission 4:30 pm
   

Cocktail Reception

When does the reception begin, and what is included?
The post-show reception begins immediately following the runway show (approximately 6:00 PM).

Guests can mingle and enjoy:

• A curated selection of beer, wine, and champagne
• Small plates and assorted hors d’oeuvres

Perfect for light but satisfying grazing in a relaxed, fashionable atmosphere.

Tickets

Will there be physical tickets?
No physical tickets will be issued. Upon arrival, proceed to registration to check in and receive your program. Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase onsite.

What is the price for an individual ticket?
Individual tickets will be available starting January 2, 2026, for $200 each (limited quantity).

Seating

What will the seating arrangement be?

• Theater-style seating for all guests; silver sponsors and above are provided designated seating for their 
  entire party; friends of Good Sam sponsors and general ticket holders are provided separate designated 
  seating areas on a first come first serve basis. This is not a table format event for all guests.
• Sponsors receive preferred reserved seating along the catwalk
• For special assistance seating, please contact the committee in advance.

• There will be a silent auction at the Main Catwalk Fashion Show.

Donor Advised Fund (DAF)

Can I use a Donor Advised Fund to pay for this event?

Yes, with restrictions:

• Donors can recommend a grant from their DAF to support an event only if they decline all benefits 
  associated with the sponsorship. This means no tickets, meals, gifts, or anything of tangible value. 
  Recognition (such as listing your name in the program or on signage) is considered an incidental 
  benefit and is allowed.
• Donors can make a general donation through their DAF to help underwrite the event if it’s fully tax-deductible and they receive no more than incidental benefits. If you choose to support an event with a 
  DAF contribution, please make the amount of your donation for the full amount (remember, no benefits 
  allowed).
• Alternatively, you can use DAF funds for the amount of the event minus the fair market value of all 
  benefits. Hence, you will have to pay using non-DAF funds for your tickets, seats, tables, etc. You 
  will not receive a tax donation for this payment.

For example, you would like to be a $10,000 sponsor for a Gala. If the fair market value (“FMV”) of attending 
the event is $5000 (which includes 4 tickets, plus food, gifts, etc.) you will have to ask your Sponsor to issue a 
DAF grant for $5,000 and pay the other $5,000 using non-DAF funds. You will not receive a tax deduction for 
the non-DAF funds. It is our policy, that if the Foundation receives the $10,000 aggregately directly and 
indirectly from you, we will recognize you as a $10,000 sponsor in most circumstances
